The
Network group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.45pm.
We
at Bromborough Methodist Church have interpreted the word ‘Network’ to
encompass not only the ladies in our congregation but also the
gentlemen to join us in our monthly meetings, when speakers on a wide
variety of subjects are EQUIPPING, ENCOURAGING & ENABLING us to
appreciate the diversity of the world around us.
We
have, in a modest way, supported worthwhile projects in Soweto, Papua
New Guinea, Uganda, Vision Aid Overseas and Belarus. Nearer home we
have supported the friends of St George’s Hall, Claire House, Wirral
Autistic Society, the Eastham Centre, the ARK project and the Women’s
Refuge, to name but a few. As our commitment to mission both at home
and abroad, we support the Network Annual Projects.
The
average attendance at our meetings during the past fours years has been
28 which we feel sure indicates an enthusiasm for informal and friendly
Christian fellowship. We look forward to participation continuing
through the coming years.
