| Choral Group |
The Choral
Group is a Fellowship Group which meets to enjoy
singing together. We
concentrate mostly on Church music but enjoy singing other
types
of music as well.
We often
contribute to worship, mostly in our own church but also joining with the choirs of
the other Bromborough and Eastham churches to lead United
Services. We also sing in Circuit and District Choirs for special
occasions. Whilst
we are very pleased
to sing to enhance Worship, we also have fun
by rehearsing music purely for our own enjoyment!
The
Group usually
meets at the home of Pat Jones
("Bankdale",
Dibbinsdale Rd. Bromborough) on Thursday Afternoon's at 2.30 pm. We sing for
about an hour then enjoy refreshments and
conversation before finishing with a further half
hour singing.
We
currently have 17 members but
we would be
very pleased to have more. Some
but not all of the
group read music - indeed some of our most able singers
cannot read music! The only qualification which the group
members need is to enjoy singing together!
